Frequently asked questions

What is a Boilr ?

A Boilr is simply a boiling water apparatus and supply unit. It takes in water from your normal supply and heat it up. Upon request from the user the heated water will flow to the faucet. When idle the normal water supply is working as usual.

How do I tell Boilr to supply heated water ?

You turn on the water 3 times and let it run. A short alarm will beep to let you know heated water is on its way. After a few seconds , depending on the individual installation with regards to the distance from the unit to the faucet, the heated water starts to flow.

Is it safe to use ?

As always when you use heated water close to a 100 degrees you need to pay attention. You need to follow a dedicated pattern when turning on and off the faucet to initiate the heated water and there is an audible and distinct beep warning you that heated water is on its way. When you are done you get and audible alarm until there is no more heated water in the faucet. If you want to you can simply flush the faucet with normal temperature water and the alarms stops.
